Terms of Service

Last updated July 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of WalkThru IQ, an app that helps contractors turn job-site walkthroughs into estimates, work plans, and invoices. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

AI output is a starting point — you own the final numbers

This is the most important term, so it comes first. WalkThru IQ uses AI to draft estimates, labor hours, material prices, work plans, schedules, and document text. Everything the AI produces is a suggestion. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving every measurement, quantity, price, schedule, and document before you rely on it or present it to a customer. Market prices vary, AI can be wrong, and only you have seen the job. WalkThru IQ is not liable for errors in AI-generated content, for jobs bid too low or too high, or for any business outcome of documents you send.

Not professional advice

WalkThru IQ does not provide engineering, architectural, legal, tax, or code-compliance advice. Permits, licensing, building codes, and the decision to perform any work remain entirely your responsibility as the contractor.

Your content

You own the data you put into WalkThru IQ — recordings, photos, notes, customer information, and the documents generated from them. You grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to provide the service (including the AI processing described in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having the right to capture what you upload — including informing customers when recording, as your state's law requires.

Your account

Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate company information — it appears on the invoices and proposals you send. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently erases your data.

Acceptable use

Don't use WalkThru IQ to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send spam or fraudulent documents, or to probe, overload, or disrupt the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

WalkThru IQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date above, and continued use means acceptance. Questions go to walkthrusupport@gmail.com.
